An algorithm has been developed to identify genetic variations associated with these phenotypes. The objective of the summer project is to design computational methods to validate the effectiveness of the genotype-phenotype mapping algorithm. Our approach would be to design and implement algorithms to simulate the evolution of traits in bacterial populations.
